What to do at a job interview
At the interview it is important for the newcomer to demonstrate:
- good soft skills;
- Mastery of management theory (knowledge of different project management methodologies, understanding of professional terms, etc.);
- Lively mind and the ability to think logically and coherently;
- Readiness to learn and grasp everything on the fly;
enthusiasm. - If you have experience in running some pet projects, it’s worth mentioning, as well as any other relevant experience (for example, you were a QA, but you were a scrum master in a team and partially performed managerial functions – held retrospectives, demos and so on – all of this must be mentioned).
